ACB operations in the Northeast are carried out in a 56,000 square
foot leased warehouse-type property in Amesbury, Massachusetts.
In January 2004, ACB began operation of a proprietary state-of-the-art
destructive recycling line at its Amesbury facility (seen to
right). Automated shredding and grinding is coupled with a series
of material separation technologies (magnetic separation, gravity
and size classification) to yield several commodity streams,
including: (1) ferrous metals, (2) glass, and (3) a nonferrous
metal/plastic mixture that is marketed for its nonferrous value.
Our facility is located less than two miles from Interstate 495,
approximately 35 miles north of Boston. ACBs facility is
convenient to north-south transportation on Interstates 93 and
95, and east-west transportation on Interstate 495, the Massachusetts
Turnpike, and Massachusetts Route 2.
